Playing uber-catchy, melodic, politically-charged, socially-conscious, activist posi-punk-pop, The Class War Kids take a page out of Propagandhi's "How To Clean Everything" era and bring things forward a little bit. In the span of 2008 to 2010, the band released two full length albums and an EP and also toured their native Canada twice and went on a 10 week tour across Western Europe. On these tours, the band demonstrated their knack for entertaining just about any crowd, with their spastic stage maneuvers and excellent vocal harmonies. In fact, on their first tour, lead singer Patty incurred a broken leg after attempting to jump-kick off a wall (which, sadly for Patty, broke through). A week later, the band would play in Hamilton for the first time, with Patty in a full leg cast. Only a few people got to witness this show, but after driving 15 hours straight, setting up in under 20 minutes and coupled with the injury, the band blew us away, playing their little hearts out. Luckily, no one was hurt by a flying leg cast that day.
Leaving a lasting impression, the band is now on hiatus as of Fall 2010, with 3 out of 4 members active in the band "Brutal Youth," located in South-Western Ontario.
